WWE gave Rhea Ripley the opportunity to be the star of a whole premium live event in her native Australia, giving her the weekend of a lifetime. In the main event of Elimination Chamber, Mami defeated Nia to successfully defend her Women’s World Championship in an amazing match.
Following the bout, she celebrated with her family at ringside and was clearly emotional. Together with her former Riot City Wrestling teammates, Ripley also got to see other close relatives. To support The Eradicator, Gabriel Aeros and Eli Theseus, also referred to as The Parea, were backstage at the Elimination Chamber.
Posing with the Aussie tag team, Rhea Ripley did this just before heading out for her match. She put them over and shared the photo of them on social media, referring to Theseus and Aeros as her “family” and warning everyone to be on the lookout for them:
“My Boys. My Brothers. My Family. The MF Parea! Gabriel Aeros & Eli Theseus, watch out for these two,” Ripley tweeted.
Throughout her fight with Nia Jax, Ripley has largely been a babyface for the previous few weeks. If that carries over to RAW is still to be seen. It’s strange because she hasn’t even had any interactions with The Judgment Day on television in a long. It could be the last of Mami’s stay in the group.
The struggle never ends for Mami. She is now aware of who she will face at WrestleMania. After weeks of speculation, WWE has officially declared that Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch will square off at The Show of Shows. It is uncommon for two big talents in the WWE today to not have battled each other on the main roster.
