Salazar is one of Resident Evil 4’s most unmistakable villains, yet up to this point, he’s been missing one key thing that made him stand out in the original.
Any individual who knows about the remake of Resident Evil 4 will have noticed the changes made to the notorious 2005 installment, however, one person concluded that Ramon Salazar expected to have his immensely significant hat reinstated. Helping to define survival loathsomeness gaming, especially at the beginning of the class, Capcom’s RE series has been a colossal influence on the universe of scary games, and it’s really impressive that the franchise is still ready to deliver some exceptionally praised entries.
Of course, there are some eminent differences between the original Resident Evil 4 and the redo, however, that’s by and large turned out to improve things. The studio has cleaved a couple of bits to a great extent, for certain decisions perhaps not being excessively famous with fans, however, has generally kept the tone of the OG release, however, it is admittedly darker. Notwithstanding, one thing that has changed significantly is Salazar’s appearance. While still conspicuous, as of recently, he’s been missing one key part.
Over on Nexus Mods, user kira5z has brought back Salazar’s “sweet” tricorn hat for the Resident Evil 4 remake. It’s a generally straightforward change, yet it does give the halfway boss an appearance more in line with his original look. The maker describes it as “even more a curiosity,” however it should interest fans who felt the villain was missing something. Whether kira5z or some other modder will be quick to reinstate some other things from the 2005 RE4 remains to be seen, however, this could be the start of something new as players continue to draw comparisons between the two games.
Before the redo was even released, Resident Evil 4 fans were comparing Salazar to Margaret Thatcher, with his old face and large hair making it challenging to not see the similarities between him and the late British Prime Minister. This new mod also shows just the way sharp the local area is with regards to messing with the configuration. There have proactively been several other tweaks to the revamp that have either endeavored to redress something or have just a tad of tomfoolery.
There have also been some Resident Evil 4 players trolling newcomers by convincing them to shoot into the lake. Knowing full well that this will cause the giant Del Lago animal to jump up from the water to swallow Leon entire, some of the more veteran fans have presumably been having a decent snicker without regard to other individuals.
Resident Evil 4 is ready to use for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
