Royal Challengers Bangalore finally managed to add a title to their cabinet with an impressive 8-wicket win over Delhi Capitals. Sophie Devine was able to take on the bowlers during the chase and hit boundaries at regular intervals, while Smriti Mandhana managed to score runs at a steady rate.
Despite Devine’s dismissal, Perry stepped up and formed a solid partnership with Mandhana. After Mandhana returned to the pavilion, Richa Ghosh ended the game, and the wicketkeeper-batsman scored the winning run.
RCB’s spinners performed brilliantly and bowled out DC for 113 runs in 18.3 overs. DC began well and reached 64/0, but Sophie Molineux turned the game around by taking three wickets. Shreyanka Patil then took four wickets, while Asha Sobhana took two wickets as DC faced a brilliant batting collapse.

RCB Win First Title: Richa Ghosh Strikes the Winning Runs to Secure the Title
RCB Women defeated Delhi Capitals to win their maiden WPL title as Smriti Mandhana led the team to victory. The spin quartet, including Georgia Wareham, played a key role in dismantling DC’s batting lineup. RCB Women did this in their maiden Women’s Premier League (WPL) final.
Richa Ghosh hit a length ball from Arundhati Reddy over extra cover for a four. RCB not only won their first WPL title but also their first silverware in any competition.
