On Monday (March 4), the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players did a lap of honor at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, expressing thanks for their supporters’ overwhelming support and affection.
RCB won the Bengaluru leg of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 yesterday night against UP Warriorz (UPW).
The action now shifts to Delhi, which will host the remaining WPL matches till the final.
Fans have gone out in large numbers for all five of their local team’s matches.
The RCB players did not disappoint, as they outperformed last season, winning three of those games.

Smriti Mandhana led the side from the front with outstanding batting performances, amassing 219 runs at a strike rate of 154.23, including two half-centuries. She is also the current owner of the Orange Cap.
Smriti starred in RCB’s recent triumph over UPW on Monday, scoring 80 runs and propelling her team to a big first innings total of 198. UP Warriorz scored only 175/8 in the chase, losing by 23 runs.
Following the game, the Royal Challengers players performed a lap of honor with the supporters to commemorate their victory.
A player also performed a headstand throughout the event. The WPL’s official Instagram account posted a video to offer everyone a peek of the scene.

Following the match against UPW, RCB all-rounder Ellyse Perry remarked on the victory and crowd support, saying.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore will next face the Gujarat Giants on Wednesday (March 6) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
