Ryan Cherky Cherky, a promising prospect for Lyon, is reportedly considering becoming a Chelsea player, according to a source speaking to Football. London.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who has less than 2 years left on his contract at the Groupama Stadium, was a key player in helping Lyon win French football’s top-division final season. In Ligue 1, Cherky played 34 games, more than double the number of the previous year. He contributed six assists and four goals to help the OL finish in seventh place.
Rayan was hailed as one of the top artists in the world when he first appeared on the scene as a youth. The French midfielder has slowly improved over the past few seasons, but last year, he started contributing for Lyon.

Who is Ryan Cherki?
Born on 17 August 2003, French professional footballer Mathias Ryan Cherky plays an attacking midfield for Ligue 1 team Lyon and he is just 19 years old. The midfielder is 1.77 m (5 ft 10 in) tall. Cherki’s father, Fabrice, is also of Italian ancestry, and both of his parents are of Algerian ancestry.
Cherky, a product of Lyon’s youth program, is considered one of their best prospects ever. At the age of 15, he made his debut in the Championnat National 2 with their reserve team. Cherky committed to Lyon on 7 July 2019 for the duration of his first professional contract. At the age of 16 years and 102 days, on 27 November 2019, he made his senior European debut against Zenit in a Champions League group stage match after scoring 4 goals in the 2019–20 UEFA Youth League.
On 19 August 2020, in the UEFA Champions League game against Bayern Munich, Cherky was substituted. He created history by becoming the youngest player ever to feature in a UEFA Champions League semi-final.
