Ravi Shastri has less or little tolerance for failure says Dinesh Karthik : Dinesh Karthik has recently been selected for Asia Cup Squad 2022. Many critics and fans are speculating him in the T20 World Cup Squad as well considering his recent performances. In a conversation with the media, Karthik shared his stint with Indian head coach Ravi Shastri.
He said ” Ravi Shastri used to push players to achieve better things but he had very little tolerance for the failures when he was India’s head coach. ”
The 37-year-old Karthik has played well under Ravi Shastri, especially in 2019.
The Kohli and Shastri tenure was one of the best times for Indian cricket. There are times when they were criticized for not standing by a few players who required empathy during a lean patch.

In a conversation with Cricbuzz’s show “Summer Stalemate,” he said ” Ravi Shastri had a very little tolerance for somebody who would not bat at a certain pace. He did not like someone who is doing very differently in the nets and would go bat differently in the match.
Not appreciative of that. However, he knew what he wanted from the players and the way in which it was played. His tolerance is very little for failures. He will always push the players to do well.
Kartik who is currently 37 is a designated finisher in the T20 setup. His recent performances in IPL and the Indian team have helped him secure a position in the team. He feels more relaxed and Secure with Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid.
Ravi Shastri has had a successful coaching stint with the Indian team, especially in the test series. Under his ten, your team India has won on Australian soil twice, entered the World test Championship finals, and drew test series in England.
Karthik further added ” I think Ravi Shastri the player was someone who was probably not as talented but fulfilled his talent as a coach. He did better than what he was expected to do by critics, fans and anyone else. As a coach, he was a larger than life person. He was someone who pushed players to try and achieve something special.
