Ranking event Nove Mesto- Jane Karla Gogel equals para world record
Ranking event Nove Mesto- Jane Karla Gogel equals para world record. The Para World ranking event commenced on 5th July 2022 at Nove Mesto, Czech Republic. On the first day, a series of events took place.
The para world record for 72-arrow-50-meters in the qualifying round is now equalled by Jane Karla Gogel, the Brazilia compound women. She performed shooting 695 out of 720 points on the 1st day of the competition.
Ahead of Tokyo Para Champion Phoebe Pine, Gogel shot halves of 345 and 350.
Gogel expressed her feelings on social media
After making a record equal, Jane reacted in her Facebook post about the score which was initially set by Eleonora Sarti in 2016 June. She said I’m very happy, but I have a lot more to do, the weather here has changed quite a bit. It was raining from the morning on the competition day, and stopped just on time, and got nice.
During the first round, some shots were not good, as they did not come out well, but in the second round, I was able to improve my pace of shooting and managed to pull the qualifications in the first with a world record equal. Now the focus is on Thursday when the individual match starts.
