In the Ranji Trophy final match here in Chinnaswamy Stadium, the team of Madhya Pradesh has come on the driving seat. As expected, they started the first session of the 4th day magnificently and succeeded to make a lead in the first innings. Till the writing of the news, the MP’s score has reached 408 at the loss of four wickets.
RCB player, Rajat Patidar (87 *) is close to a century while Akshat Raghuvanshi has taken the crease. He is at the score of 6 runs. Leader of the team MP, Aditya Srivastava was dismissed after scoring 25 runs. Madhya Pradesh’s players Shubham Sharma (116) and Yash Dubey (133) scored centuries on the third day.
Madhya Pradesh is going to make the history
In any conditions, if the match finishes at the draw, the winner will be decided on the basis of a first-innings lead. Madhya Pradesh started the 4th day with a score of 368/3. Rajat Patidar has opened the innings with 67 and Aditya Shrivastav with 25.
Day 2 of the final was in the name of Mumbai. On his behalf, Sarfaraz Khan smashed a century and helped his team score 374 runs. Sarfaraz Khan played a magnificent inning of 134 runs. Sarfaraz played 243 balls in his century innings.
Khan 24, has scored the 8th ton of his first-class career. In the last 14 Ranji innings, Sarfaraz Khan has smashed one triple century, two double centuries, four centuries, and three half-centuries.
On day 2 the bowlers of MP also maintained the pressure on Mumbai’s batter. They did not allow Khan to play freely.
Openers of Mumbai Prithvi Shaw and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave their team a good start. Both openers contributed 87 runs for the first wicket. Prithvi Shaw bowled by medium-pacer Anubhav Agarwal after scoring 5 fours and a six off 79 balls.
