Second-seed Spanish legend Rafael Nadal has pulled out of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the year. The world number-4 player Rafael withdrew his name just before the semi-final match on Friday. Nadal got a stomach injury during the quarter-final match on Thursday. He was suffering from a problem in his stomach. Injury can be aggravated and he could be out of court for two-three months that’s why he took the decision of withdrawing.
Rafael Nadal said, “I can’t imagine winning two matches with this pain,”. The most important thing for me is happiness rather than the title. Although everyone knows how much effort I put into it, I cannot afford to be out of the game for two to three months. The tennis legend and world champion was a strong contender for Wimbledon 2022. Earlier, he has won the French Open title a month ago.
