Quqco has been banned from Twitch for violating the platform’s community guidelines. Quqco is a well-known content creator who streams art and cosplay.
Although gamers and streamers have embraced Twitch for its versatility and popularity, recent discussions have focused on the platform’s stringent community guidelines. Even though Twitch allows a certain amount of creative expression, there are still rules that must be followed, and anyone who breaks these rules could be banned. One of the platform’s popular streamers, Quqco, was recently banned for the fifth time for allegedly wearing inappropriate clothing while watching a documentary. This put the platform in the news.
Quqco is a well-known Twitch streamer who has been online for more than four years. She has amassed a significant following of fans who regularly tune in to watch her streams due to her engaging personality, impressive artistic abilities, and captivating content. Quqco is well-known not only for her gaming and artistic abilities but also for the elaborate costumes and outfits she chooses, which occasionally get her into trouble with Twitch.
Both Quqco and the people who watch her Twitch channel were taken aback by her most recent ban. Quqco claims that she was barred from watching a Chris Chan documentary in a dress. When she posted a picture of the outfit on social media, many of her followers pointed out that it was not inappropriate. It is unknown whether the documentary’s content was a factor in the one-day ban or not.
Quqco has been banned from Twitch multiple times for a variety of reasons, all of which had to do with her attire. In particular, in 2019, she was disqualified twice for cosplaying as Chun Li in an inappropriate way and for showing her underwear while portraying Mai Shiranui from Dead or Alive. She was then banned again in 2021 for showing too much skin, despite the fact that she claims her outfit showed less skin than what some hot tub streamers were wearing without being penalized. In addition, she received a three-day ban in January 2023 for using fake breasts as stream props.
The recent ban of Quqco and other Twitch streamers has confused both Quqco and her fans. Another well-known streamer by the name of Mizkif was recently banned from watching MILF Manor during a live broadcast. Given that other streamers have watched the same content without being penalized, this ban seems odd. It demonstrates that Twitch’s ban policies are inconsistent, a problem that urgently requires resolution.
