On October 16, 2022, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is scheduled to begin in Australia. 16 teams will compete in the 20-over event, which concludes on November 13, eight of which have already qualified for the Super 12 stage. From the First Round, which will include eight teams, four more teams will join them.
The first game of the multi-team tournament will take place in Geelong between Sri Lanka and Namibia, while the first game of the Super 12 phase will take place in Sydney between the hosts, Australia, and their neighbours, New Zealand.
India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh are in Group 2, while Australia, England, New Zealand, and Afghanistan are in Group 1.
