PSL(Pakistan Super League) 2023: Teams, Venue, Format, Schedule, Broadcasters, And All You Need To Know. The Pakistan Cricket Board launched the PSL, commonly known as the Pakistan Super League, in 2016. The eighth edition of this t20 cricket competition will take place from February 15th to March 31st, 2023. Pakistan will host all PSL matches at various grounds around the country. The event began with five clubs, but Multan Sultans joined in 2018 to make it a six-team league.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz, David Miller, Sikandar Raza, Moeen Ali, Rovman Powell, Imran Tahir, and others will compete in the T20 competition. Wahab Riaz has been replaced as captain of Peshawar Zalmi by Babar Azam. After Babar departed to Zalmi, Imad Wasim, who led Karachi Kings to triumph in 2020, has returned as captain.
Host Country
The fact that every game, including qualifying, eliminator, playoffs, and championship match, would be held in Pakistan once again has the country’s supporters ecstatic.
PSL 2023 VENUE AND FORMAT
The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League will follow the same format as the previous one. In the double-robin round format, each team will play two matches. A total of 34 games will be played, including the semi-finals and finals. The following are the PSL 2023 venue details:
- Karachi- National Stadium
- Lahore- Gadaffi Stadium
- Multan- Multan cricket stadium
- Rawalpindi- Rawalpindi cricket stadium
PSL 2023 SCHEDULE
The PCB has yet to officially issue PSL 2023. However, according to rumours, the first match will take place on February 15, 2023, while the final will take place on March 19, 2023. We will notify you as soon as the PSL 2023 schedule is available. Consider the following critical inputs for match timings:
- Opening Ceremony: 6:00 PM
- Opening Match: 7:00 PM
- Friday Double Matches: 3:00 PM & 8:00 PM
- Other Days Double Matches: 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM
- Single Matches: 7:00 PM
