PSL 2023 Opening Ceremony:
Shae Gill and Sabir Ali Bagga from Coke Studio will perform at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League on February 13; PCB promises VR entertainment and a light show.
“The PSL 8 will be a massive event for the PCB, taking place at the four iconic venues with the world’s best T20 cricketers in action,” PCB chief Nijam Sethi stated in a press conference prior to the league. Our goal is to make the PSL bigger, stronger, and better than ever.
Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi played an exhibition match last week ahead of the league. It was played in Quetta with over 15,000 people in the stands watching. Sarfaraz Khan, a former Pakistan captain, led the Quetta Gladiators, who lost to Zalmi by just three runs.
The Gladiators’ Iftikhar Ahmed’s six sixes were the match’s high point. As he went insane in the over bowled by Wahab Riaz, he became the first player from Pakistan to accomplish this feat. At the Multan Cricket Stadium, on Monday, February 13, the league will begin with a match between the Multan Sultans and the Lahore Qalandars.
The PSL 7 runners-up Multan Sultans will face the defending champions Lahore Qalandars in the first match of the season after the opening ceremony. This will set the stage for a highly competitive tournament.
Fans are questioning why the PSL anthem has been delayed while they are eagerly awaiting the opening ceremony.
The music video has already been shown in clips online, but the official release has been held up by delays. Fans are looking forward to the start of the tournament and are excited to see what the anthem has in store for them despite the wait.
