Virat Kohli said that when the player gets moving, it is hard to stop him as he doesn’t commit numerous errors.
In advance of the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which begins on Wednesday at the Oval in London, India’s star batter Virat Kohli has praised Australian batsman David Warner.
In a video posted by ICC, Virat considered Warner an “Effect player” for Australia. He said that when Warner gets rolling then it is challenging to stop him as he doesn’t commit numerous errors. ”
The video was captioned by the ICC Twitter handle, “Virat Kohli knows the impact David Warner can have in big games.”
“Influence player. At the point when David gets rolling, he can remove the game from you before long. Because he can harm you very quickly and repeatedly, you probably want to get rid of him quickly.
The 36-year-old batsman has struggled in the past two years, scoring just one century, his epic 200 on Boxing Day last summer, and 18 scores of 15 or less in 32 innings.
During the 2019 Ashes tour, he managed just 95 runs at 9.5 in five Test matches.
Warner, however, participated in the IPL 2023, amassing 516 runs in 14 games. His strike rate was 131.63 and his average was 36.86 at the end of the season. Despite not being at his best, these runs will increase his confidence before a crucial final.
