Potential update on when the next WWE Draft will take place
Potential update on when the next WWE Draft will take place: According to recent speculations, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) may have plans to further shake things up by holding a draught in the near future.
Recently, there have been a lot of adjustments made to the marketing. After Vince McMahon’s retirement from the corporation, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan took over as co-chief executive officers of the business.
Triple H has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Head of Creative. Additionally, the firm has begun re-signing previously released actors and actresses, such as Karrion Kross, Dakota Kai, and Dexter Lumis.
According to Fightful Select, it has been claimed that the WWE Draft could take place on September 3, following the conclusion of the Clash at the Castle event.
It has been claimed that several RAW stars will be appearing on the first episode of SmackDown on September 9, the night after the premium live event. In addition, it has been speculated that a number of SmackDown stars will make an appearance on the episodes of RAW airing on September 5 and September 12.
As a result of this, talent within the organization has begun to speculate that the draught will take place after the upcoming premium live event. Fightful also mentioned that the writers have observed that repackaging for superstars will most likely take place after Clash at the Castle rather than in the near future.
Kevin Owens has already expressed his rage towards the WWE Draft.
By switching brands, the stars will be able to provide the WWE Universe a new perspective on their careers thanks to the draught. On the other hand, the talent may at times be concerned by the position in which they are taken during the selection.
During the 2019 draught, a situation somewhat similar to this one occurred. Kevin Owens, a former holder of the Universal Championship, was selected in the third round of the draught.
After he was chosen, he was allegedly requested to participate in an interview, but the tape of it was never shared. Kevin elaborated that he had provided an honest response, but the digital team interpreted it as appearing “to be angry.”
“After being recruited to #Raw, the @WWE digital crew reached out to me last night to get my opinion on the situation. I responded to their question in an open and sincere manner. They made the decision not to post the tape because I gave the impression that I was upset. I was fuming inside. I still am. Round 3… Looks like I still have alot to prove, “KO tweeted.
KO attacked Ezekiel in a horrific manner on the edition of RAW that aired this past Monday, and he claimed to be back to his former self in a backstage interview after the attack. The passage of time will reveal whether or not the former stays on the red brand after Clash at the Castle.
