Pollard’s Draft Ambition: Pollard declared that he wants to have fun playing cricket again. After retiring from international cricket, the West Indies great has a new goal of having fun on the professional scene and enjoy life.
In his interview, Kieron Pollard has said he thinks that every cricket club should only be looking at him as the number one pick in this month’s overseas player draft.
After a dismal year with injuries and lack of form, Darren Sammy has begun to enjoy life again and is back on track to enjoying the game after being freed from the rigours of international cricket.
Lastly, Pollard faced calls to reinvent himself as he entered the twilight of his career. The first half of the year was rough for Pollard and many thought his best days are behind him.

While the overall success rate has not changed since Pollard’s retirement, the West Indies captain has been afforded a new modeling opportunity – sporting tennis. From April 2019, Pollard transitioned from the ODI and T20 captain to embarking on a new career with tennis.
With an assortment of coaches, physios and massage therapists, he provides the support needed to take care of his body between high-level international tournaments. As the greatest player in his sport, he earns automatic entry into any T20 league.

Some players do routines no matter if they’re playing international cricket or just league leagues. The last few months his left knee has caused him some problems, but Pollard is over that now.
The legendary player, who retired from international cricket in 2017, said personal pride, and wanting to perform each time, were the biggest factors from keeping him away. These days he is looking forward to returning again to play the Big Bash league with his team.
Pollard is yet to confirm the availability window for the BBL, but it appears he is unlikely to play the full season. Pollard signed up for the UAE’s International League T20 competition, which will start in January.
