Gujarat Giants successively win their second match in the streak after defeating the Haryana Steelers in the pro kabaddi season nine on Saturday. This one is the fourth continued loss for the Haryana Steelers this season.
Some players from Gujarat Giants are really on fire and they nailed it in this match, as they handed another defeat to Haryana Steelers this season. Rakesh and Sourab Gulia contributed majorly to their team to victory. The giants have won two matches consequently in a row and registered the score reading 42-38.
The raiders and the defender of the Haryana Giants have the better start on the night, working in coordination. Amirhossein Bastami caused some serious problems early. However Jaideep and Mohit brought the Steelers back into the game but Giants took the lead with Rakesh’s raids, which is what was turning out to be a close game. Rakesh helped the team by taking over the steelers with the ALL OUT. In the last minutes of the first half, Meetu, Manjeet and Jaidee pulled up their socks, as the steelers fired back and ended the half with a 6 points lead at 22-16.
In the second half of the game, the Giants try to continue their momentum for a strong comeback. The Steelers found it a bit tougher to stop their opponent as Sourab Gulia and Rakesh were overpowering Gujarat.
The Rakesh went to pick up another 15 points to help the Giants lead the steelers by 4 points in the 35th minute of the second half. The Steelers tried to give their all but the Giants continued their legacy to build the lead and came out of the mat with the crucial win.
