Paris Olympics: All The Latest Info You Need To Know. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced the full schedule for the 2024 Paris Games, including the badminton competition. Badminton has a busy schedule in 2024, with 28 events being scheduled from 12 different venues around France. The scheduling is posted on the official website of the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Paris 2024: Badminton schedule – The first rounds at the 2024 Olympic competition in badminton are set to start on July 27th at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena and play will be over three sets on six of the days before playing two sets each day. The last day of the competition will be Aug 5.
The competition will start with rounds of group play, before the knockout matches. The group assignments will end by July 31, 2024. Multiple knockouts will be played on that day at 5:00 PM Eastern time, with the first gold medal final starting at 8:00 PM on August 2, 2024.
The women’s doubles gold medal match has a day scheduled on August 3, and the men’s doubles gold medal match will be played on the following day, on Day 8. The men’s singles final is scheduled for that same date, August 5.
The 2024 Olympics is scheduled to start on July 26 and will run until Monday, August 11th. The opening ceremony of the Games will be held a day before the start of badminton competition.

The competitions in the singles, men’s, and women’s competitions will be split into group play. Group assignments will end after 5 days on July 31, 2024, and bring us to the knockout rounds. The first game of the finals for mixed doubles will be played on August 2, 2024.
The Women’s Doubles gold-medal match will be played on Day 8 on August 3, followed by the Men’s Doubles gold medal match on August 4. The women’s singles final is scheduled to be played at 9am while the Men’s Singles final will be played at 10am.
