The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 witnessed yet another thrilling matchup between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions. In the second match at the National Stadium in Karachi, Peshawar Zalmi defeated the Karachi Kings by two runs on Tuesday, February 14.
The Zalmi reached 199 for the loss of five wickets with Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s 92 and Babar Azam’s 68 after being put in to bat first. Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik tried their hardest for Kings, but their efforts were fruitless.
With 80 off 47, Wasim maintained his unbeaten record, and Malik scored 52 off 34. James Neesham and fast bowler Wahab Riaz each took two wickets for the Zalmi.
