The seventh season of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Pakistan’s major franchise Twenty20 cricket league, will take place in 2022. In 2015, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the country’s cricket board, established the League. The first season to be held entirely in Pakistan will be this one.
The Pakistan Super League has provided excellent opportunities for Pakistani bowlers in its short history. Additionally, it has witnessed the demonstration of the skills of seasoned international bowlers. Wahab Riaz has taken the most wickets in the PSL, taking 79 in our seasons. Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz come in behind him with 59 and 49 wickets, respectively.
Bowlers from all six teams will compete to be the player with the most wickets in the seventh PSL, which begins on January 27, 2022. There will be 34 matches in this season’s League, with each team playing twice in the group stage. The play-offs will be open to the top four teams from the group stage.
Top Scorers in Pakistan Super League 2023
In the league stage, the six franchises will participate in a double round-robin stage, in which they will play two matches against each other, one at home and one away. Over the course of 25 days, there will be a total of 30 matches in the league stage.
The six teams participating will compete for a spot in the top four. The Playoffs will be held by the top four teams on the PSL 2022 Table. There will be two qualifiers, an elimination round, and the tournament’s championship, just like in the Indian Premier League.
