Speaking in an upcoming documentary titled ‘Novak Djokovic-Untold Stories’, Srdjan said: “As far as my wishes for my son are concerned, he already fulfilled all of them seven or eight years ago. “The rest is this wonderful bonus.”
He added: “As a father, I wish he should have stopped doing this very difficult job for a while. “It’s physically and mentally challenging and very demanding: having been fully dedicated for 30 years and never taking my foot off the gas, there isn’t much time for other things.
“Tennis is just a segment of his life, not his whole life. “I hope that he will be recognized for what he will do after he finishes his career, even after he leaves the world of tennis, and I hope that happens next year.”
