From January 18 to February 1, the New Zealand cricket team will tour India in 2023 and play three One-Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals. Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian ODI team, and Hardik Pandya will lead the Indian T20I team.
In the absence of Kane Williamson, Tom Latham will lead the New Zealand ODI team, and Mitchell Santner will lead the New Zealand T20I team. Due to his leave, KL Rahul was not included in either squad, and Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are still not included in the T20I squad.
For the first time since July 2021, wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat was included in the ODI squad. Prithvi Shaw was recalled to the T20I squad. In the upcoming New Zealand series, India will play the Black Caps in their second white-ball match in less than two months.
After the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia is over, India will travel to New Zealand in November 2022 to play three Twenty20 Internationals and as many One-Day Internationals. For Indian players, this series will be significantly more difficult than the Sri Lankan one.
A few months ago, India was humiliated by New Zealand in New Zealand. They would seek retribution for the demise of that series. Additionally, this time around, they will field a team with full strength.
