New Genshin Impact Leak Identifies Yaoyao’s Splash Art A new Genshin Impact leak suggests that the splash art for Yaoyao, a new Dendro user, is one of the upcoming four-star characters.
One of the upcoming characters, the eagerly anticipated Dendro user Yaoyao, appears to be the subject of a new Genshin Impact leak that provides additional details. Multiple leaks have already begun revealing additional information about a new set of characters, despite the fact that the two new roster additions, Wanderer and Faruzan, have not yet been officially added to the live servers.
Yaoyao has been mentioned in numerous leaks since the game’s release in September 2020, making her one of the most anticipated characters in Genshin Impact. She may finally join the roster of playable characters in the coming months, at least after two years.
Yaoyao is the only character who has not yet appeared in the game out of all the characters whose models were leaked during the initial beta phase. This is probably because HoYoverse was unable to add her before the enigmatic Sumeru region arrived because she is a Dendro user. Due to the fact that Yaoyao is also a Liyue character, she probably did not appear in the first four Sumeru updates.
According to a recent post on the well-liked Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, the upcoming splash art for Yaoyao has been revealed. The sketch also shows a companion who is similar to Xiangling and other characters in the game.
Given that recent leaks have revealed that Yaoyao’s kit will be similar to Itto’s Masatsu Zetsugi, having an animal friend makes sense: Akaushe Burst, which puts Ushi, his faithful companion, on the battlefield. The Dendro user’s two skills will enable them to place items on the field that grant various buffs and healing.
As a result, Yaoyao should be the first Dendro healer in Genshin Impact, making her a potential essential character for numerous team competitions.
She is anticipated to arrive in Genshin Impact update 3.4, according to credible leakers, regarding her release date. This indicates that she will be added to the roster during the Lantern Rite Festival, which typically provides a free Liyue character.
Because of this, some fans were led to believe that completing some event-only quests in HoYoverse might enable them to acquire the brand-new four-star character.
Yaoyao isn’t the only new character in this update; earlier rumors suggested that Alhaitham, a well-known Dendro user, might join the roster in the coming weeks. Alhaitham, in contrast to Yaoyao, is expected to have a higher five-star rarity because he has already appeared in the current Sumeru storyline.
Genshin Impact is now available for PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. A Switch version is currently in the works.
