NBA Star Dwight Howard Takes Part In WWE Tryout: One of the NBA’s all-time greats has his sights set on achieving superstar status in WWE.
Dwight Howard, an eight-time NBA All-Star and a former NBA Champion made a surprise visit at the SummerSlam tryout session on Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee. He then proceeded to give an impassioned promo in the presence of Triple H and other WWE scouts.

According to a report by Arash Markazi of ESPN, the tryout session lasted for five hours, and Howard plans to be ringside for the premium live event that will take place on Saturday during SummerSlam. Additionally, Howard disclosed to Markazi that he has sincere intentions of pursuing a career in WWE.
Markazi further mentioned that Howard “was asking trainers and guests how to properly take a bump in the ring and do other manoeuvres.”
In his advertisement, Howard alluded to himself as Sho’nuff, the antagonist from the movie The Last Dragon, which was released in 1985. He has in the past celebrated Halloween costumed as Sho’nuff and posted images of himself doing so on social media.
“I believe that it will be something that happens in the future. I am a huge fan of WWE. After the tryout, Howard said to Markazi, “I absolutely adore wrestling.”
“I am appreciative and grateful to have this opportunity to be here and simply witness this whole process, including the tryouts and everything. If all goes according to plan, I’ll be in the ring grappling and wearing a belt sometime in the not-too-distant future.”
WWE
The world of WWE is not unfamiliar territory for Howard. During the 2015 season, while he was the starting Center for the Houston Rockets, he went to an episode of “SmackDown” that was held at the Toyota Center in Houston.
Following the concert, Howard joined Triple H backstage for some after-show hangout. The Game has offered an open invitation to Dwight Howard for a potential future shot at becoming a WWE Superstar. This can be seen in the tweet that follows.
It has not been announced which NBA team will be Howard’s new home for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Howard spent the previous campaign with the Los Angeles Lakers.
