NBA Schedule 2022-23 Rumors: Warriors vs. Celtics Finals Rematch Dates Revealed
NBA Schedule 2022-23 Rumors: In the 2022 NBA Finals, the series between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics was a lot of fun to watch, and it has been rumored that the dates for their rematches in the future season have been released.
Battle
According to information provided by Shams Charania of The Athletic, the first battle will take place between the two teams on December 10 in San Francisco. The second showdown will take place between the two teams in Boston on January 19.
The Warriors were able to claim their fourth title in the last eight years by claiming victory against the Celtics in six games. As a result of Golden State’s defeat in Game 1 at home and Boston’s victory in Game 3, the Warriors found themselves in a difficult position, falling behind 2-1 in the series.
However, the series took a turn for the better in Game 4, when Warriors star point guard Stephen Curry delivered a career-best performance by scoring 43 points and guiding Golden State to a victory by a margin of ten points.
Following that, the Warriors won Game 5 at home by a score of ten points, which they did do because of a fantastic performance from Andrew Wiggins on both offense and defense.
Curry once again dominated the final game of the season, leading the Warriors to a victory in Boston by scoring 34 points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing out seven assists.
Score
The final score was 103-90. Curry’s effort was bolstered by contributions from Wiggins, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, and Draymond Green, all of whom scored in double figures. For the first time in his remarkable career, the 34-year-old point guard was awarded the Most Valuable Player award for the Finals.
Even though the Celtics were never outmatched in the Finals series, there is no doubt that the club will be thirsty for vengeance after failing to achieve its goal of winning the championship.
The nucleus of the Boston Celtics, which consists of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and Robert Williams III, has not changed, and the team has strengthened its roster by acquiring point guard Malcolm Brogdon through trade.
Golden State has also kept its core together, which means that there will be some familiarity between the two teams going into their two encounters this season. This should make for some tough competition between the two teams.
