On Monday, January 15, Nathan Smith made a spectacular grab during the Super Smash match between the Northern Knights and Wellington at Basin Reserve.
Katene Clarke was out for 13 runs off 12 balls as the Knights lost their first wicket for 20 runs thanks to his catch.
During the fourth over of the Knights’ run chase, the event occurred.
Logan van Beek produced a short-length outside-off delivery that Clarke attempted to sweep over mid-wicket.
Smith covered a lot of territory from mid-on to deep mid-wicket to grab the fantastic catch, which left everyone speechless.

Northern Knights defeated Wellington by seven wickets in Super Smash on Monday because to a disciplined bowling effort.
Wellington were bowled out for 102 from 18.3 overs after being asked to bat first.
Scott Kuggeleijn, Zak Gibson, and Matthew Fisher each took two wickets, while Kristian Clarke, Tim Pringle, and Fredrick Walked each took one.
Nathan Smith led the way with 26 runs off 21 deliveries, including one maximum and three boundaries.
The other three hitters to achieve double figures were Jesse Tashkoff, Logan van Beek, and Peter Younghusband.
The Northern Knights responded by chasing the mark in just 15.3 overs.
With the bat, captain Jeet Raval shone, hitting 32 runs off 28 balls, including one maximum and three boundaries.
Henry Cooper contributed 25 off 26, while Peter Bocock and Brett Hampton remained undefeated on run-a-ball 16 and 15 (11), respectively.
The Knights won their second game of the season with the victory.
They, on the other hand, remained at the bottom of the Super Smash point standings, with only two victories in seven games.
Wellington, on the other side, fell to second place with five victories in nine games.
The Knights will play Canterbury on January 18, while Wellington will play Canterbury on January 22.
