Career 

He started career with the Spanish national team in U-17, U-19, and U-21 sides in various tournaments. In 2013, he made his debut as a senior player against Chile in a friendly match in Switzerland.  At the age of 11, he joined the youth systems of Real Madrid. He completed 2-year long time at AD Complutense. Since then, he has been with Real Madrid and started his senior debut by playing for the reserve team.

He came on as a substitute for his real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos in a 2-2 game for the National team. Since then he has 14 appearances on the national team, half of which was in 2017. Nacho Fernandez was born in the Capital city of Spain in 1990. His father and mother namely Jose Maria Fernandez, and Maite Iglesias respectively. Nacho was the first child of the family. He has a younger brother Alex Fernandez and a sister Maite Fernandez Iglesias. His younger brother is also a professional footballer.
