Sreeshankar and his mentor, Sivasankaran Murali, will prepare in Greece for 32 days, per a service discharge issued on Friday. The cost of this training will be covered by the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS).
Murali Sreeshankar, a long jumper who won silver at the Region Games, plans to train in Greece for more than a month in preparation for the Asian Games and World Sports Title. The management of the games has assisted her.
According to a Friday ministry release, the long jumper and his coach, Sivasankaran Murali, will train in Greece for 32 days. The training will be covered by the Target Olympic Podium Scheme, or TOPS.
For the rest of the month, Sreeshankar is working out at Texas Tech College with global mentor Keith Herston. Moreover, TOPS has managed the cost of this status.
Racewalkers Priyanka Goswami and Sandeep Kumar’s plans to train with and compete alongside Sreeshankar for 16 days at its 95th meeting in Melbourne, Australia, were approved by the government’s Mission Olympic Cell (MOC).
The two of them and their mentor, Gurmeet Singh, are expected to travel to Australia on May 15. MOC kept judoka Linthoi Chanambam’s suggestion to take part in new organizing cum-challenges in Poland and Georgia, despite games.
Linthoi, who recently received TOPS funding to prepare there, plans to compete in the Gori Select European Cup in Poland and Georgia like her mentor Mamuka Kizilashvili. She will train there as well.
Linthoi will train and compete in Poland, Azerbaijan, and Georgia over the course of the 28-day international training and competition.
