Miracle League Camp: Wheeling Central players excited to help, Mike Young strongly helped encourage the players to support the community. The opportunity of giving back to the community is what Wheel central head football head coach approaches. On Monday evening, 30 Maroon Knight players and 15 cheerleaders volunteered to help. For the annual Miracle League Football camp which was going to take place at the highlands sports complex.
The coach reacted to the player volunteering
He surveyed the actions in the indoor field at the facility and said ” This was amazing to see all the kids involved. It’s a great opportunity for the kids to experience and understand how fortunate they are as high school kids sometimes take things for granted. When they work on events like this, see the excitement, and the way kids interact with them.”
During the camp which was open to all age groups including males and females, the campers will learn the basic fundamentals of football. The camp course will include a hand of passports, passing blocking, etc.
It’s really to fold her because of how the kids were enjoying this and having so much fun at the Miracle League. It’s an opportunity to give back and reach out to the people and support them who are in ways disadvantaged and in some ways, they are blessed.
Though it was a volunteer for the maroon Knight players to help in the camp. However, the senior Paxton Marling was quick to commit to helping the young students and informing them about the camp.
“It’s a great opportunity to come here and show these guys a thing or two about the football sport and see their fun and enjoyment while learning.” ” It’s a nice way to be able to meet new people and help them learn about football”.
