Michael Leask Journey You Will Want To Know
Michael Leask or Michael Alexander Leask, a right-handed batsman and occasional off-spin bowler is famous for hitting long sixes and was part of the Scotland Under 13 to 19 teams before joining the senior team. He made his T20 debut against Kenya in July 2013, after which he scored 58 runs in his third game against the Netherlands.
Leask has already made an appearance with the ODI team, against Canada in 2014. He also showed his worth against England, in what was a brutal 16-ball innings of 42 runs. His performance was appreciated by their captain at the time, Alastair Cook. This performance proved to be a false dawn as he failed to make an impression in the World Cup Qualifiers of 2014. Despite failing to make it to the knockouts, Leask did maintain his spot in the 15-man squad for the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Tom Leask is a skilled off-spinner who has taken wickets in international games, with three in one game against Tasmania. In 2014, he played one game for Northants against New Zealand A.
Leask signed onto the Somerset cricket team in 2016. Matt Maynard, Somerset’s director of cricket, said he was an “aggressive cricketer”, and welcomed him to the team. In October 2017, Leask made his first-class debut for Scotland in the ICC intercontinental cup. Leask had a poor outing against England in a famous ODI match: conceding 50 runs off 4 overs, and scoring only 10 runs from four balls.
Michael Leask, a young allrounder from Aberdeen, was broken into the Scotland squad in 2013. He was impressive domestically and made his international debut followed by a List A match against Essex
Leask has shown potential for helping Scotland to score runs, as he smashed 42 from 16 balls. He also showed talent at bowling, picking up one six against Ireland.
He was part of a team that toured Australia for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, and he impressed against Tasmania when he had 3 runs.
