Yesterday’s Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali saw Mumbai Indians (MI) defeat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six wickets. Punjab won the toss and went into bat, scoring 214/3 with Liam Livingstone scoring 82* off 42 balls. Ishan Kishan (75 off 41) and Suryakumar Yadav (66 off 31) scored fantastic half-centuries as Mumbai chased the target in 18.5 overs.

Livingstone scored fifty by hitting Akash Madhwal for a four to deep extra cover in the 18th over. As Punjab raced toward the 200-run mark in the penultimate over bowled by Jofra Archer, he launched three sixes in succession.
