MI Cape Town revealed their set of players before the auction: On Wednesday, Reliance, the owners of the Mumbai Indians IPL Franchise revealed the names of their two teams in the UAE and SA leagues. They recently brought teams into both the leagues and announced names. The UAE league team is named “The MI Emirates” and the SA league is named “MI Cape Town”.
Now they have revealed their first list of players in MI Cape Town. They announced the signing of 5 players for the inaugural edition of Cricket South Africa T20 League. MI will look forward to signing the best players before the auction in the UAE league as well.
MI Cape Town signed top players before the auction
MI Cape Town has signed Kagiso Rabada, Sam Curran, Dewald Brewis, Liam Livingstone, and Rashid Khan. They signed the players before action as per the rules of the T20 League. In the Franchise, they signed 2 foreign players, 1 South Africa capped, and 1 uncapped player. MI Franchise chairman, Akash Ambani in an interview said ” I’m excited about our journey as MI Cape Town in South Africa league. With direct signings of the players, we have moved the first step, with MI’s philosophy of keeping our core strong.

They have already added players before the auction, now it would be interesting to see which players other teams will sign and what will be left with the auction.
