Meghalaya Sports and Youth affairs minister, Banteidor Lyngdoh on Friday, September 24, 2021, announced financial support of Rs 1 crore.
The money is provided to any football club from the state that qualifies for the Indian Super League.

Announcement Regarding Prize Money
Meghalaya sports minister Banteidor Lyngdoh declared at the send-off ceremony of Ryntih Sports and Cultural Club
The club will participate in the I-League Qualifiers. It will be in Bangalore from October 4-25.
The minister also announced cash incentives to different Football Clubs of the State reaching up to 10 lakhs for those qualifying for the 2nd division I-League, 40 lakhs for those who qualify for I-League.
An amount of 34 crores is released for the up-gradation of the JN complex.
The artificial will be replaced with natural turf and overall facilities within the complex will be upgraded.
An indoor multi-purpose sports complex is constructed on the 5th ground costing around Rs 100 crore.
The complex will contain facilities like swimming pool, basketball, tennis courts and many other indoor games facilities.
