Meet The World Number Ones Who Will Meet In Mixed Teams Final At 2022 World Games
Meet The World Number Ones Who Will Meet In Mixed Teams Final At 2022 World Games. The eventual winners of the 2022 World Games will be decided at a mixed-level (team finals) in archery on Friday evening. In the first semi finals announced this weekend, it was already known by Friday evening which nations would compete in the team finals.
One of the biggest names in the games will face off on Saturday noon. It is a clash between two legends and current number one contenders with both countries having three athletes qualified.
Colombia and the Netherlands won their respective quarterfinals matches, but for Schloesser, going to the finals was a consolation after he lost in that region.
The match that changed the momentum did not last long as my teammate and I were able to win gold. It will be awesome to shoot for the golden team banner with him. We do really well and I am happy about that.
Lopez will still be able to win gold in the individual race, but with a mixed team final the main goal was achieved. Lopez is clear that she did not do well individually.
“There was a real sense of momentum for our team, winning the World Championships and doing so in Turkey. I knew we had a good shot at the final, that was my main focus–to make it to the final with Daniel.”
Abhishek Verma and Jyoti Surekha Vennam might win the archery-medal for India at the World Games of September. Unless he wins before Saturday, when the final four of the men’s competition happens.
We are grateful for the opportunity to compete in this world class event. We just want to focus on our shooting and do our best, Vennam said.
Competition at the upcoming 2022 World Games will continue on Saturday with the appearance of the compound individual final fours, medal matches for mixed team compound competition, and concluding with the medal rounds in mixed team compound.
