Despite the odds, Falak Ahmad’s father Nasir works as a drudge at a private academy, and her family had to drop out of academy to work at a cycle form shop to support their seven- member family, which includes their grandparents. Falak’s family resides in a single- room, drum- encamped house in the Katghar neighbourhood of Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on the Yamuna River.

Passion for justice Falak began playing justice when he was 12 years old. She was unfit to enrol in any sports academies because her father was unfit to pay for education.

Falak asked to play fast bowling. Falak decided to work on her fur and bowling chops and came an each- rounder after getting advice from her trainer.
She was named for the Uttar Pradesh inferior women’s justice platoon in 2016 after putting in a lot of trouble. She was suitable to earn a spot on the under- 19 Indian women’s justice platoon thanks to her performance then.
