After parting ways with Nike last season, Mavericks Kyrie Irving finally chose a new company to put his signature name and shoes on.
Though Irving papered Chinese sportswear brand ANTA, whose Kyrie shoes he was repeatedly seen wearing. Irving has signed a five-year contract and will also be named creative director.
“The Mavericks’ Kyrie Irving has signed a five-year endorsement deal with Chinese sportswear brand ANTA, as well as the company’s unique creative director role,” industry sources told The Athletic & Stadium.”

However, he has a large say in creative decisions within the company, Irving has the authority to recruit players for ANTA. As well as, with stars like Gordon Hayward, Klay Thompson, Alex Caruso and others, ANTA already has several NBA players on its roster.
According to sources, after the news was announced, Irving spoke to Boardroom TV and shared his thoughts on his next steps.

After Nike dropped him due to an anti-Semitic controversy, Irving was briefly rumoured to be involved with brands like ANTA. His ANTA contract is longer than the new contract he signed with the Dallas Mavericks.
