According to sources, Manchester United have made a £51.4m offer for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hjolund.
United’s offer is 50 million euros (£42.8 million, $55.4 million) plus an additional 10 million euros (£8.6 million, $11 million) in add-ons, though it is understood to be less than the valuation of the 20-year-old Italian club.
Moreover, the two clubs are currently in talks with United pushing for an agreement in early August to integrate Hojlund with his potential new teammates before the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
The offer hasn’t been ruled out entirely, but United is now open to going higher if necessary and will have to lay the groundwork to reach a price closer to Atalanta’s valuation: €70m ($59.9m) is considered sterling, $77.5 million) m).
