Manchester player ratings: 6 players are at 7. Manchester United hammered Liverpool 4-0 in Thailand this pre-season. Their pre-season has started with a bang over Liverpool. More than 50,000 fans attended the match to see Manchester taking over Liverpool in style with Dutch Manager Eric ten Hag’s first match. Jason, Fred, and Anthony scored for Liverpool in the 1st half which helped them to victory. They changed the entire lineup in the second half and were under pressure. Though Liverpool had many chances to score goals, they failed to seize the opportunity.

Marcus Rashford 6: He had a good start, ND also dragged a 16th minute wide. Filled the 22nd. He looked energetic, but needed to take chances.
Diogo Dalot 7: He shot against the post after 35 minutes when United was dominating.
Victor Lindelof 7: He double-blocked Liverpool in the first 20 minutes as United took a surprising lead early in the game.
Luke Shaw 7: Need a good season after the last term. He was always looking to attack in the game.
Scott McTominay 7: His first touches in the match were sloppy, but made a fine slide ball in the 14th minute to Martial. He also had a chance for himself after the 1st half-hour mark.
Raphael Varane 7: He recovered early from the misplaced pace and supported the players well later.
Bruno Fernandes 7: He tried to score by cutting from the left in the 28th minute, but he played a large role in supporting the attackers.
Jason Sancho 8: His quick feet and tricks in the early start put United ahead. He was United’s best player for 45 minutes on the field.
Anthony Martial 8: To make it a 3-0 victory, he did a beautiful finish to the game after winning the ball back and running for the goal.
David De Gea 8: Alert in the beginning and made an 11-minute stop from Diaz. He saved him on a few occasions, David scored fewer goals than Alison Becker in 1st half.
