Indian famous shuttler PV Sindhu has reached the pre-quarterfinals of the Malaysia Open Super 750 badminton tournament 2022 in women’s singles. However, another Indian badminton legend Saina Nehwal faced a loss and was out of the tournament. Similarly, the mixed pair of B Sumeeth Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa was also out of the tournament after defeating. Indian player PV Sindhu defeated Thailand’s Pornpawee Chochuwong by set scores 21-13, 21-17 to secure her place in the Pre-Quarterfinals. Sindhu easily won the first game by scoring 21-13 over Pornhwavi.
But In the second game, Pornpawee challenged Sindhu and initially, Pornpawee was ahead in the beginning. After PV Sindhu made a comeback and finally won this game also by 21-17 to win the match in her favor. On the other hand, Saina Nehwal got a defeat in the first round of the tournament. Saina was knocked out of the tournament by Iris Wang of the USA in the direct game of 21-11, and 21-17.
B Sumit Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa faced defeat too in mixed doubles
