Legends League Cricket is a T20 league featuring retired cricketers. While international players dominate the circuit, there are some uncapped cricketers as well. This is the third edition of the LLC: the first two were played in January 2022 in Oman and in September 2022 in India.
The three teams – India Maharajas, Asia Lions, and World Giants – who clash a double round-robin league (in other words, play each other twice). This will be followed by the Eliminator between the second- and third-placed teams. The winner of the Eliminator will face the table toppers in the final.
The India Maharajas, featuring Indian cricketers, will be led by Gautam Gambhir. The Asia Lions has been picked from non-India Asian teams: Shahid Afridi is the captain of the side. Aaron Finch, who announce retirement not too long ago, will lead the World Giants – a team representing countries outside Asia.
