The competition will consist of five groups and begin with a match between the Jaffna Rulers and the Galle Warriors on December 23. The Jaffna Kings are the current champions. Kusal Mendis and Thisara Perera, both Sri Lankan T20 players, are among the members. Others include Haider Ali, Carlos Brathwaite, and other internationals.
The matches will be held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, and the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Colombo is where the championship match will take place.
Before the knockout rounds begin on December 21, each team will play twice in the league stage of the competition. In qualifier one, the teams in first and second place in the league stage will compete, and the winner will advance to the final.
The loser will face the winner of the eliminator between the league’s third- and fourth-place teams. The winner of that match will be the last one standing.
