The league will begin on December 5, with a contest between Galle Gladiators v Jaffna Kings, and run for a period of 19 days. A Reserve day is part of the tournament. Some of the finest players from Sri Lanka, and T20 stars from around the world will feature in the competition. The matches will be in Colombo and Hambantota. The final will be on December 24 in Hambantota.
Sri Lanka stars like Thisara Perera, Lahiru Kumara, Upul Tharanga, Dilshan Munaweera will play in the tournament. Also featuring will be a number of young Sri Lanka players like Wanindu Hasaranga, Chamika Karunaratne, Charith Asalanka, and Chaturanga de Silva.
The contingent of international stars includes Chris Gayle, Samit Patel, Faf du Plessis, Rovman Powell, and Imran Tahir.
