PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, has stated that he has yet to decide on his future.
The long-term Los Blancos target is in the final six months of his current contract with the Parisians, having informed them in the summer that he will not be extending it.
The 25-year-old is free to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club ahead of his summer free move.
However, the 2018 FIFA World Cup champion has stated that he has reached an understanding with club president Nasser Al Khelaifi and that his current emphasis is on the squad.
According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Mbappe stated:
I haven’t decided on my future, therefore I don’t have a choice.
However, we have an agreement with President Nasser Al Khelaifi that protects all parties in this scenario. Now, my focus is on the team, not on my future.
Nonetheless, Los Blancos remain interested in the French striker. According to the Guardian, Liverpool and the La Liga heavyweights are both interested in signing Mbappe, with both clubs monitoring his position’ with interest.

How has Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe performed this season for PSG?
PSG forward Kylian Mbappe is having another strong season for the Ligue 1 leaders. The 25-year-old has 22 goals and two assists in 23 games across tournaments.
This includes a league-leading 18 goals and two assists in 16 games in Ligue 1, where Luis Enrique’s side is five points ahead of second-placed Nice after 17 games.
The Real Madrid target scored one of Paris’ two goals in a 2-0 home win against Nice to claim the Trophee des Champions on Wednesday, January 3.
However, the Frenchman has underperformed in Europe, scoring three times in six games as Paris Saint-Germain finished second behind Borussia Dortmund to qualify for the knockout stages.
On February 14, Enrique’s team will host Real Sociedad in the opening leg of the Round of 16 at home.
However, they will begin their French Open campaign on Sunday, January 7, with a trip to Revel.
