Skipper Rohit Sharma, Deepak Chahar, and Kuldeep Sen will return to India after being ruled out of the remaining series.
After Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Sen, and Deepak Chahar suffered injuries, Kuldeep Yadav has been added to India’s squad for the third and final ODI in Chattagrom, Bangladesh.
During the second ODI in Dhaka, skipper Rohit Sharma was fielding when he was hit in the thumb. He was evaluated by the BCCI Medical Team, and he had scans done at a Dhaka hospital nearby. He will miss the final One-Day International because he has flown to Mumbai for specialist consultation. The BCCI released a press release that stated, “A call on his availability for the upcoming Test series will be taken later.”
At the Sher-E-Bangla stadium, India lost the second one-day international by five runs in a close match. In the second innings, Rohit batted at number nine and scored a blistering 51*(28).
In contrast, fast bowler Kuldeep Sen was rested for the second game after complaining of stiffness in his back, and Umran Malik took his place. Kuldeep is out of the series because he has been diagnosed with a stress injury.
Deepak Chahar has also been ruled out of the series after suffering a left hamstring strain during the second one-day international. Kuldeep and Deepak will now go to NCA to have their injuries treated further.
