Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Dwayne Bravo join UAE`s International League T20
Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, and Nicholas Pooran, all of whom play for the West Indies national team, are among the players who have committed to playing in the first season of the United Arab Emirates International League Twenty20 (ILT20).
On Thursday, the United Arab Emirates International League T20 (ILT20) made public the next group of extraordinary and well-known cricket players from around the world who have agreed to take part in the competition’s first iteration.

The league has lately strengthened its roster by announcing some of the most outstanding names in global Twenty20 cricket, and now they have added even more impressive names to their list of Marquee Players.
Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Dwayne Bravo, Dasun Shanaka, Ollie Pope, and Fazalhaq Farooqi are some of the names that have been added to this distinguished list.
Mubashshir Usmani, the General Secretary of Emirates Cricket, made the following statement in reference to the most recent list of players to join the League: “Our group is continually blown away by the calibre of talent that has committed themselves to compete in the ILT20.
We are very thrilled to see the list of Marquee players increase in size, which is obvious via our most recent reveal, and we are encouraged to see fresh, young talent join such experienced names from all across the world of cricket.”
Will Smeed, Rehan Ahmed, Jordan Thompson, Sheldon Cottrell, Andre Fletcher, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Bas de Leede, Chris Benjamin, and Bilal Khan are some of the other players that have been revealed in the most recent batch of information.
The inaugural ILT20 will make its debut in January (2023), and it will be played in a format consisting of 34 matches across the exceptional, world-class Cricket facilities that are located or found in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah in the UAE. The tournament has received multi-year approval from the ICC.

The Emirates Cricket Board announced in June that the first ever International Twenty20 League (ILT20) will take place between the dates of January 6 and February 12, 2023.
The competition will give Emirates Cricket a great opportunity to advance the development of its homegrown talent. Players based in the United Arab Emirates who are currently integrated with the board’s program, as well as those identified by the high-performance coaching and selection committee teams, will be given the opportunity to train and play alongside some of the world’s best minds of today’s game during the tournament.
