According to an Italian publication, Calcio Mercato, Juventus has been given a golden opportunity to acquire the Chelsea midfield duo of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.
According to the aforementioned report, Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has a lot of admiration for Chelsea manager Graham Potter. According to reports, the manager of the Blues has authorized the West London club to exercise Zubimendi’s €60 million release clause.
Chelsea’s interests in Zubimendi
According to Calcio Mercato, Chelsea’s interest in Zubimendi may result in the departures of Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. Both midfielders are out of the agreement at Stamford Scaffold toward the finish of the time and are 31 years old at this moment.
Additionally, the Blues’ contract negotiations with the duo have not really progressed, as it becomes increasingly likely that they will be phased out. In the coming weeks, Juventus may make approaches for the two midfielders because of their undying admiration for one another.
In addition to the Old Lady, Barcelona has received a lot of interest in both midfielders as they look for a replacement for Sergio Busquets, who may be leaving the club.
Due to the loss of their dominance in Italian football to two Milan clubs, Juventus’ performance has declined over the past few years. The last two Serie A titles went to AC Milan and Inter Milan, and Massimiliano Allegri’s team needs to work hard if they want to win the title again.
The Bianconeri could greatly benefit from the additions of Kante and Jorginho, both of whom have extensive midfield experience.
Chelsea keen on Juventus attacker
Due to injuries, Kante has only appeared in two games for Chelsea this season. In contrast, Jorginho has scored three goals for the Blues in 19 games played in all competitions this season.
Chelsea reportedly inquired about Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic’s availability during the winter transfer window. Chelsea is interested in an attacker from Juventus.
The Serbian international was frequently linked with Arsenal in the past, but in January, he decided to transfer to Juve from Fiorentina.
However, due to their struggles during the 2022–23 campaign, he has been widely rumored to be leaving Bianconeri.
After Armando Broja’s long-term injury, the Blues are among the frontrunners to sign Vlahovic, who is worth approximately £80 million.
Vlahovic has scored 16 objectives and spread out four aids 36 games across all rivalries for the Old Woman to date.
