Johnny Broome- Auburn Tigers player review
Johnny Broome- Auburn Tigers player review: In the recent transfer window under Bruce Pearl Auburn has shown tremendous success with players like Samir Dottie, KT Harrell, and Walker Kessler. Now they are looking for one of the best transfer deals in the market with Johnny Broome. The center player from Florida has played for 2 years at Morehead state with an average of 15.4 and 9.83 rebounds.
His name was entered in the transfer portal after 26 days of Purm’s commitment to Auburn tigers. Johnny is one of the talented players who joined the talented Auburn Tigers.
Strength- Defense
He has an attractive offensive game but his appearance in the center of the basket is more valuable. He brings the protecting side back into the front area that the team needed after Kessler went. He was ranked third at the National level last year with 3.9 cubes per game. The record is just behind Kessler and Jamarion from Western Kentucky.
Johnny Bromme only had 463% of the Pre throws streak and 61% at Morehead State last season. As per his physical nature and his shots, it usually comes off the field. so, some improvement in Charity’s streak will help his play and Auburn.
Best moment- OVC championship
Johnny played several games last season for Morehead state. He was involved in many games including the game against UT Martin he scored 9 rebounds and 19 points in that game. He also played against Tennessee in which he had 14 rebounds and 25 points. He scored his career-high points 32 by 13/20. Also took 8 bounds in the championship game for a strong Murray state.
2022 predictions
Auburn doesn’t have superstars like Kessler and Jabbari Smith, so he has to fill their gap. Johnny is a natural return as a basketball position this year, you will see him with Dylan Cardwell for starting position and playing time. Coach initially used three different formations and different matches but for the first match they played, Burm was starting center. You can expect Johnny to play a very big part in the offense for the team next year he should be used more at the back of post Basket games he should also be allowed to use missed matches or score points as well it will help to evolve his game and provide support to the team.
