When it comes down to youth athletes, I have told them to enjoy these wonderful moments. For the rest of us this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so we should appreciate the many great aspects.

If you didn’t make it to the MLB playoffs and/or College World Series, it is unlikely you will have an experience like this ever again in your lifetime.
As the number one writer, you have brought joy to communities and cities all over the world. Professional athletes of all levels are seeing your success and are cheering you on. Parades, congratulatory messages and praises have become popular in response to your work.
You should do the same. Just be the god that Norman Dale says you are, even for just 15 minutes. Rock stars, pro athletes, movie stars, all wrapped into one. You can’t be too careful with people trying to get what they want out of you all the time.
For the past few years, each team has arrived in September to play one another. The passion they show is incredible and instantly recognizable. You have had a positive impact on these teams and the players you meet as a result of sports tours.
Don’t worry; you will forget the details later when you’re more experienced. Keep playing to win, but don’t obsess over winning or losing.
You’ll remember playing at Lamade and Volunteer Stadiums. You’ll remember your friends, all the awesome times you’ve shared on and off the field, places you’ve been, people you’ve befriended, and how joyous your life has been.
I was a competitive, difficult child. But I told you to forget everything I said. The point is, I have a lot on the line when playing Spyro and it’s not just a game, every pitch can be life or death.
Don’t let me hold your back on living life. I regret not enjoying this experience when I was more in my 20s and now that I am older, I would do anything to go back and make the best of it. My only advice is to enjoy the time you have left on this earth knowing that it will be harder for you than me one day.
It is always worth stepping out of your comfort zone to experience something new. Discovering a new venue or playing on a different field can enrich the experiences of your entire team and the whole season.
Before focusing on things like credibility and tournament implications, you should remember all the work that has gone in front of you. This is your payoff.
Regardless of whether you win or lose, your legacy will live on. You have brought so many fans and made so many memories that this is the most rewarding moment of them all. Now it’s time to make some more memories to increase their legacy and ensure they are remembered forever.
