ISU Center of Excellence Pairs Seminars. International Skating Union (ISU) Center of Excellence Oberstdorf, Austria, July 25-30, 2022.
A second international pair skating seminar will be held this summer at the Oberstdorf ISU Center of Excellence. The seminar will be led by Olympic Champion Bruno Massot (GER), five-time World Champion Robin Szolkowy (GER), European Champion Vanessa James (CAN), and European Bronze Medalist Ondrej Hotarek (ITA). To prepare for the upcoming season, the international coaching team will work with the pair teams on and off-ice.
There will be two sections to the seminar. Advanced novice and young junior couples preparing for national and international competitions will be the emphasis of Week 1. The emphasis will be on intensive practice of the most fundamental aspects of pair skating. Next week’s focus will be on the finer points, levels of pair skating aspects, and training competition programs for pairs competing in the Junior Grand Prix and Challenger/Senior Grand Prix Series.
Monitoring events will be joined by International Judges and technical experts in the second week of the seminar. Athletes and coaches will gain valuable information from this monitoring for the remainder of their season preparations. July 2022, second full week (Arrival: July 24th; Departure: July 31st) Specifically Speaking, I’m Speaking To Sophisticated pairs of juniors and seniors A maximum of 12 couples are allowed to attend each seminar week. Per seminar week, only two couples from each country will be accepted. Location of the training Many international stars have benefited from Oberstdorf’s ice rink and have taken advantage of its ideal training conditions. A three-rink facility, a ballet hall, a yoga room, a number of changing rooms, and a restaurant must all be available at the facility. Center for Ice Sports in Oberstdorf It is located in Oberstdorf, Germany. Catering Athletes and coaches have lunch and dinner at the Zoran Restaurant, which is located in the ice sports center and is easily accessible. The cost of tuition The weekly charge for each couple is $200. During the course of the seminar, you will have full access to the venue and its staff. Lunch and dinner are also included for the athletes and coaches participating in the training sessions. First week: July 18-23; second week: July 25-30; third week: July 31-August 2
Participants are expected to cover the cost of their own lodging. The organizer has reserved a small number of apartments that are within walking distance of the ice rink. According to the amenities and size of the apartment, you can expect to pay anywhere from per night to per night for an apartment. For up to four persons, there are apartments available.

Classical ballet
Formerly active members of the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, UKR duo Katherina Markovskaya and Maxim Chashchegorov danced. Students will be taught a wide range of Ballet skills by both teachers, who are both enthusiastic educators. Deniz Doru (GER) is a Hip-Hop and Modern Dancer who will encourage future athletes. Deniz brings a wealth of expertise to the table, having worked with numerous members of Germany’s national figure skating team throughout the course of her career.
Athletes and coaches interested in participating must submit their registration forms by June 10th to the address below.
