ISSF World Championship journey for Indian begins with bagging the bronze medal in their court. They won the bronze in the 25m pistol team junior competition for ISSF. The event took off on Thursday for the fixture.
It was a trio from India that turned out to be heavy over the German team. The score till the finals was 17-1 for India vs Germany.
The trio of Esha Singh, Naamya Kapoor and Vibhuti Bhatia came up with flying colours for India. The score of Trio in the first round of qualification was 856 where they end up in the fourth position.
The team shoots it to 437 in the next round to end up finishing behind the German team in 4th position. The gold is bagged by China whereas the silver medal is with Korea.

The results of the Women’s 50m rifle are also commendable where Nishchal shoots 616.9 ending at 8th position and Nupur Kumrawat scores 606.6 to end at 34th position in the league.
During Men’s Junior event Surya Pratap Singh ends the match with a score of 608.7 whereas Pankaj Mukheja ends the fixture in the 14th position.
Harsh Singla marks a score of 606.0 ending up in the 20th position of the event whereas Adrian Karmakar scores 603.7 ending in the 27th position.
Two Indian’s pair make it to the Junior competition’s second stage in the 50m rifle race. To finish the second position in the stage Surya Pratap Singh and Nishchal shoots to score 691.1. Nupur Kumrawat and Pankaj Mukheja score 612.4 to finish the matches in 7th position.
